Mission to Mars

According to BBC News, Scientists at Imperial College London have designed a concept mission to land astronauts on Mars. A team of scientists from Imperial College London discuss how we could put a human on Mars The plan envisages a three-person crew journeying to Mars aboard a small two-part craft. The craft would rotate to generate artificial gravity and use a heat shield to protect itself against solar flares. The crew would then return to Martian orbit in a pre-sent craft fuelled using ice from beneath the planet's surface. The concept, developed in conjunction with the BBC, is intended to spark further debate about the technical obstacles and risks that would have to be overcome in order to put humans on Mars.

Google set to reveal new tab charges up without wires

Google will launch its latest tablet and reveal it charges up wirelessly. The news leaked on the net. The tech giant will confirm details already leaked online which promise a Quad-core processor and five megapixel camera. It is also thought the device will run the latest version of the Android operating system, Jelly Bean 4.3, which will be unveiled at the same launch event. The charging features will no longer have any cumbersome cables, with user instead placing their tablet onto a plugged-in pad which delivers the charge. Interesting invention

New Motorola Droids

Motorola announced three new exclusive phones for Verizon Wireless today. The Droid Ultra, Droid Mini, and Droid Maxx wrap the current version of Android in slim Kevlar, adding a max of Verizon and Motorola features to ice the cake. The three phones have a lot in common: they're all unibody, made of very smooth Kevlar with shiny, visually textured backs that tend to get fingerprinty, and ridged power and volume buttons on the side
